A GOOD, EXPERIENCED LAWYER NEVER ASKS A QUESTION THAT THE LAWYER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE ANSWER WILL BE.
William (”Bee”) Metros has been a lawyer for more than 20 years and a real estate broker for more than 34 years. “Bee”, as he known to family and friends, graduated from Dearborn High School, Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. (cum laude and law review).
Mr. Metros has argued cases in district courts, circuit courts, probate courts, and Court of Appeals throughout the State of Michigan; in the Federal Courts in the Western District of Michigan and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnatti, Ohio. While attending Cooley wc attorney School, Mr. Metros participated as an intern for the Sixty Plus Elderlaw Clinic - offering free legal services to residents over the age of 60.
In pursuing his career, “Bee” has followed in the tradition of three “legal giants” - Benjamin H. Cordozo, Algonquin J. Calhoun, and Denny Crane.
For more than 15 years, Professor Metros has taught a variety of legal and real estate classes at Cooley Law School and Lansing Community College along with real estate continuing education classes for the “Institute” located in Okemos, Michigan.
During his college days, “Bee” played drums for a rock and roll band called the “Woolies” - recording a smash hit “Who Do You Love”. He also backed up such luminaries as Chuck Berry (recording an album with Chuck), Bo Diddley, Del Shannon, Gary U.S. Bonds, Bobby Sherman, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, Freddie “Boom Boom” Cannon, Bobby Freeman, and the Drifters. He still rocks, on occasion, with “Boogie Bob Baldori”.
For fun, Bee plays golf - shooting an 86 in 2001 at the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland.
Bee lives in Bath, Michigan (12 miles northeast of Lansing) with his wife and teenage daughter.
